Infantry Squad Vehicle (ISV) Industry Day

The Product Lead of Ground Mobility Vehicles (GMV) located at Selfridge Air National Guard Base (SANGB) would like to invite interested National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC) members to participate in the Infantry Squad Vehicle (ISV) Industry Day to be held April 11, 2019 from 0800-1600 EDT at SANGB in Harrison Township, Michigan. The purpose of the Industry Day is to provide members with an overview of the ISV program and the requirement.

Although this Industry Day is open to interested NAMC members, only United States citizens are invited to participate, as the event will be held in a secure facility. Please see the "ISV INDUSTRY DAY Instructions" document for registration instructions.

The Government will utilize the Ground Vehicle Systems Other Transaction Agreement (GVS OTA), W15QKN-17-9-1025 for the award of this future project. The GVS OTA was awarded under the authority of 10 U.S.C. § 2371b, Section 815 of the 2016 National Defense Authorization Act, P.L 114-92.

In addition to hosting the Industry Day, the Government anticipates the DRAFT Request for Prototype Proposals (RPP) to be released to NAMC on or around April 1, 2019, and the final RPP to be released on or around April 17, 2019. Questions and inquiries are encouraged. Please submit all questions regarding the DRAFT RPP to NAMC no later than April 08, 2019. The Government is not obligated to provide answers to any questions submitted after April 08, 2019. The Government intends to provide responses to timely submitted questions, during the Industry Day.

Follow-on Production:

In accordance with 10.U.S.C. 2371b(f), and upon a determination that this competitively awarded prototype project has been successfully completed, this prototype project may result in the award of a follow-on production contract or transaction without the use of competitive procedures. The anticipated follow-on production quantity is estimated at approximately 651 ISV's.

The Government will not reimburse contractors for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. Participation in the ISV Industry Day is voluntary. The Government will not reimburse the ISV Industry Day attendees for any costs associated with their participation. This Industry Day and/or the information presented herein will not obligate the Government in any manner. The posted information is provided for planning purposes only. It does not constitute an RFP or RPP nor does it restrict the Government as to its acquisition approach for the ISV.

A prototype project will not be awarded in response to this announcement. The purpose of this announcement is to provide members of the National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC), and industry in general, advanced notification of the Government's intent to host an Industry day and release a draft RPP and final RPP to the NAMC membership. The draft RPP/final RPP will be issued to the NAMC's Administrative Agent, the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences (NCMS), who will then issue the draft request for proposals to the NAMC.
