GSA NCR Women-Owned Business Summit

On October 4th, 2010, new rules went into effect creating a Women-Owned Small Business set aside through the Small Business Administration.  This set-aside specifically targets 83 NAICS codes that are historically underrepresented by women-owned businesses.  In response to this historic move, the GSA National Capital Region Small Business Utilization Center is hosting a Women-Owned Business Summit to introduce small, woman-owned businesses to the GSA and discuss opportunities.  The summit will include speakers from the woman-owned business community, members of the GSA Public Buildings Service, and acquisition professionals.  The program begins at 8:30am with registration and will end at approximately noon.
