Eglin AFB Small Business Requirements Symposium and Trade Show

Eglin AFB is hosting the 2011 Small Business Requirements Symposium on 11 May 11 and a Trade Show on 12 May 2011.  The purpose of these events are twofold:  1) to provide a forum to discuss Eglin organization missions, upcoming procurement opportunities, recent law and policy changes and other training topics; and, 2) to showcase small business capabilities in support of the Eglin AFB mission by providing networking and marketing opportunities directly between small business vendors and the Eglin acquisition community. 

This two day event will begin with a Requirements Symposium and training event on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at The University of Florida Research and Engineering Education Facility, 1350 North Poquito Rd., Shalimar, FL, 32579, from 8:30am - 3:00pm.  Please sign in at 8:00am.  There is no cost to attend and participate in Wednesday's Requirements Symposium, and all are encouraged to attend. Travel information is available at www.reef.ufl.edu/VisitorsB.htm.   Please register at GovEvents.com in advance, if possible, so we can plan accordingly.

A small business trade show will follow on Thursday, May 12, 2011, at the Eglin Club, 1098 Boatner Rd., Eglin Air Force Base, FL from 9:00am - 2:00pm.  Forty small businesses will exhibit.  Opportunities to exhibit are closed.  Small business exhibitors will showcase their capabilities and meet with the government acquisition personnel attendees.  Large business primes seeking subcontractors and small businesses seeking partnering opportunities may also attend.
