DTIC 2010
Building on the success of the 2009 conference, the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC), premier provider of information for the defense community, will host its 36th Annual Conference. The 2010 theme is "Celebrating 65 Years of Providing Access to Defense Information", and this year's event will address DTIC's role as the Department of Defense (DoD) technical information broker. Speakers from government, private industry, and DTIC will address evolving information technologies. DTIC 2010 will bring together information professionals from the science, technology, acquisition, and research and development communities who create, disseminate and use DoD scientific, research, and engineering information. Once again, the event will feature government and industry exhibitors demonstrating and discussing the latest information services and technology. The conference agenda is built to allow exhibitors maximum time with conference attendees. Exhibitors can also attend all sessions. The Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) serves the DoD community as the largest central resource for DoD and government-funded scientific, technical, engineering, and business related information available today. For more than 60 years DTIC has provided the warfighter and researchers, scientists, engineers, laboratories, and universities timely access to over 2 million publications covering over 250 subject areas. Proposed topics include: Target Attendee Audience: Why Attend DTIC 2010? Included in each exhibit space: All technologies with an application to the conference theme or sessions are requested.
