2019 IPSA Webinar Week: Day Three

Our Fall 2019 Webinar Week includes an impressive line-up of instructors from the first responder and public safety community. They are volunteering their time and sharing their expertise to educate and train public safety professionals from around the globe.

There will be a total of 10 webinars available during webinar week, including selected previously recorded webinars.

Special note: All webinars will be recorded and only IPSA Members will have access to the recordings. If you miss the live webinar, you will need to join the IPSA to access the recording. Access to our webinar recordings is just one of many several great benefits of being an IPSA Member!

IPSA Webinar Week: Day Three

What law enforcement needs to know about "Connected Cop" - a wearable MDC

Today's technology makes it possible to have the power of a mobile data computer worn by the police officer or deputy sheriff or public safety professional. It's not only a cost-savings solution to agencies, but it streamlines workflow and operations.

How it works - in the simplest description.

A smartphone can cast its screen to a touch screen monitor mounted in the emergency vehicle and you touch the touch screen monitor which will equate to you touching the smartphone. This means the smartphone on your hip, is wirelessly connected to the touch screen monitor and replaces your MDC. The smartphone also replaces your data radio/modem in the car. Swing over the big keyboard and start writing reports.
