Barksdale AFB Technology Expo

Moving to the new Heritage Center on Barksdale AFB for the 2020 Expo, this highly successful event has grown into a major technology event for Barksdale in just a few short years. Barksdale AFB is home to the Air Force's newest command, Air Force Global Strike Command.

AFGSC was activated in August, 2009, and is responsible for the nation's three Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Wings, two B-52 Stratofortress Wings, two B-1B Lancer Wings, the only B-2 Spirit Wing, and the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center. The "Mighty Eighth" Air Force, of World War II fame, is headquartered at the Barksdale. Barksdale is home to the 2nd Bomb Wing, 2nd Operations Group, 2nd Maintenance Group, 2nd Mission Support Group, the 2nd Medical Group, 26th Operational Weather Squadron, & the Reserves 307th Bomb Wing.

The 2020 Expo will be a great opportunity to reach personnel from the commands and units who use and procure technology for this important Air Force Base and will be the only technology expo at Barksdale AFB in 2020.
