Cyber Security Conference & Expo

The federal government continues to face significant challenges in protecting the nation’s cyber-reliant critical infrastructure and federal information systems, and the cyber security news is just getting worse: The number of incidents reported by federal agencies to the U.S. Computer Emergency Readiness Team increased from 5,503 incidents in fiscal 2006 to 41,776 incidents in fiscal 2010.

And according to a new report from the Office of Management and Budget, government focused cyber attacks increased again last year with phishing remaining  the top threat plaguing federal networks.  From WikiLeaks to Chinese attacks, it’s clear federal government IT systems are not completely protected to prevent cyber security breaches from external or even internal threats.

Is your agency at risk? Are you doing everything you can to prevent an attack or protect your data? Are you improving and strengthening identity and authentication procedures for online transactions?

This year’s cyber security event will report on the state of the art for cyber security and help you answer this big question: Where do we go from here?  We’ll give you tips to close the gaps at your agency and how to train your workers to stand firm and keep your systems and databases tightly locked.  View highlights from last year's event.
