Workforce Challenges Threatening National Security--A STEM Luncheon

Come and join the discussion about challenges to the workforce to incentivize candidates to pursue disciplines in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Preparing STEM candidates is only one aspect of concern. The overall problem is the number of experts available and realistic employment opportunities in their fields. Industry is responsible for connecting skilled workers with jobs that will benefit from their skills. The defense community is gradually losing workers without enough candidates in the pipeline to ensure that the United States will remain competitive in a global market economy.
