Glenn Hernandez (USCG, retired)

Glenn served over 26 years in the USCG and retired in July 2017. From 2013-2017, he was the USCG’s CISO. He co-authored the Coast Guard’s Cyber Strategy and led their first-ever Cyber crisis response-based on the National Incident Management System framework. He has extensive experience with major acquisitions, systems engineering, intelligence operations, cyber strategy and policy development. Glenn has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School.
