2nd Annual Seaport Security Africa 2011
With continued piracy, trafficking, smuggling and global threats of terrorism, the security of Africa’s ports remains of utmost importance.
Recent developments in some of Africa’s ports have stressed the need for increased advances in technologies, strategies and control of seaport security. There have been progressive inroads made in the areas of development and upgrading, but there is still plenty needed to improve Africa’s ports’ security.
In it’s second year, Seaport Security Africa continues to put forward effective port security strategies and best practice, coupled with highly recommended interactive workshops and networking sessions.
This year, delegates at 2nd Seaport Security Africa 2011 will :
- Assess the most current security threats to maintain and increase levels of awareness and alertness
