Zero to Data Visualization: Intro to Code Workshop
In this free workshop, we'll learn coding fundamentals by using Python to gather data from the web, explore, and plot our data -- all using code. Along the way, we'll learn Python fundamentals like lists, dictionaries, and loops.
After this workshop, you will have learned the Python skills necessary for our intro to ML workshops.
This is a hands on workshop so please have your laptop ready.
Speaker and Presenter Information
Jeff Katz is the founder of Jigsaw Labs. He has taught and developed curricula in data science and web development. He has taught over 300 students to code, with students going on to work at companies such as Microsoft, LinkedIn and BlackRock. Previously, he developed child welfare software as a developer for Case Commons.
