Using Digital Surface Model Data and 3D Visualization to Create GEOINT Tools

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED

In this presentation, Kongsberg Geospatial and Vricon, a Maxar Company, will demonstrate how high-resolution terrain data and real-time visualization tools can be used to effectively visualize geospatial intelligence derived from ISR data. The presentation will include examples of the use of very high-resolution 3D digital surface model (DSM) and terrain data, as well as an explanation of how the data is derived and processed. The webinar will also demonstrate how the use of real-time tools such as viewshed / LoS calculations can be used as part of a toolset for the effective analysis of GEOINT data.

Training Goals: 1. Introduce and explain how data is derived for global high-resolution DSM maps 2. Introduce and demonstrate how this data can be visualized and combined with real-time analytical tools as part of a GEOINT toolset 3. Demonstrate the use of these tools and datasets as part of a new approach to visualizing real-time and historical data
