2011 Law Enforcement & Homeland Security Conference and Technology Exposition



The National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) and the Interagency Council for Applied Homeland Security Technology (ICAHST) present the 2011 Law Enforcement & Homeland Security Conference and Technology Exposition. The conference theme is “Vigilance through Integrated Intelligence, Technology, and Collaboration”. The conference attendees will include representatives from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence; National Reconnaissance Office; Department of Justice; Federal Bureau of Investigation; Drug Enforcement Administration; Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; U.S. Marshal Service; Department of Homeland Security; Customs and Border Protection; U.S. Secret Service; U.S. Coast Guard; Immigration and Customs Enforcement; Transportation Safety Administration; National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency; and other agencies to facilitate the sharing of information, intelligence, and technologies between the national Law Enforcement, Homeland Security, Civil, and Intelligence Communities.

The conference and technology exposition is scheduled for 7–8 December 2011.

The conference will also include a NRO national systems session on 6 December 2011 (Day Zero) for conference attendees interested in learning about or being updated on national systems. This is an optional portion of the conference; as such, a separate RSVP is requested during the registration process.

  • Promote information/intelligence integration opportunities across the community
  • Enhance mutual awareness of Intelligence, Law Enforcement, and Homeland Security Community needs and capabilities
  • Identify collaborative initiatives between the national Law Enforcement, Homeland Security, and Intelligence Communities
