Moving Forward with Modernization: The Future of Government IT and Networking
As communities throughout the country continue on the path of reopening, many government agencies are grappling with what the future of their workforces, modernization efforts and service delivery looks like. Most know this new normal will require a heightened level of performance, resiliency, security and adaptability.
Government Technology has been tracking this evolution in state and local government and would like to gather a group of thought leaders for a discussion around how organizations are planning and preparing their people, processes and technology for these changes. Specifically, we’d like to ask questions around:
- What will the future of work look like for your organization? Are employees returning to offices or will a hybrid work model become permanent?
- In this new virtual world, does your organization plan to continue owning its own IT infrastructure or becoming more of a broker of IT services?
- How do you plan on addressing the digital divide in your communities and ensuring digital equity?
- What will the impact of all of this have on your network and connectivity? What modern capabilities are needed to scale and adapt?
- Will you look to federal funding opportunities for any of these initiatives?
We look forward to having you join us for this insightful discussion! The event is off-the-record with no audience. It’s designed to let participants discuss shared challenges, insights and emerging best practices. It also will help both Government Technology and our partners at Ciena and Lumen gain a deeper understanding of these issues and do a better job of supporting IT and network professionals.
