Closing the Supervisory Skills Gap: A How-To for Federal Leaders

FACT: Studies have shown the biggest influence on employee productivity, engagement, and retention is the direct supervisor. However, with recent Congressional legislation and less-than-positive research reports by the Merit Systems Protection Board, it is clear that supervisory effectiveness is subpar in many federal agencies.

How can you as a federal leader begin to address the long-standing skills gaps that may exist in your agency’s supervisory workforce?

Join Management Concepts for a complimentary webinar discussing the catalysts for the widening of the supervisory skills gaps in the federal government (baby-boomer retirement, multiple generations in the workforce, looming budget cuts) and the implications of not addressing it. This webinar will provide you with:

  • Methods for assessing the supervisory skills gaps in your organization

  • The innovations being used in the best supervisory development programs

  • Ways to foster a new supervisory culture and champion supervisory development within your agency

You will have the opportunity to participate in an interactive presentation by a federal supervision expert, receive answers to your questions about the supervisory skills gaps, and engage in polling and discussion questions.

Space is limited.
