Speaker and Presenter Information

Sean Kelley is a vice president for Evolvent Technologies, a focused healthcare systems integrator with particular strength in federal healthcare systems that supports a wide range of programs that enable clinical intelligence, quality, patient and family centric care, chronic disease management, and comparative effectiveness research. Sean brings almost a decade of professional experience to SANS. Sean began his information security career at the Attending Physician's Office to Congress, U.S. Capitol. As the information system manager, he was responsible for the complete upgrade of the infrastructure and the development of policy and controls for the secure handling of electronic health records for 535 members of Congress, Supreme Court Justices, and Officials. He is a CISSP and PMP and holds several NSA certificates. Sean holds a master’s degree from Webster University in computer resources and information management and a second master’s degree from the Naval Postgraduate School in information technology. He concentrated his studies on computer and network security by taking classes through the NPS Center for INFOSEC Studies and Research (NPS CISR), the world's foremost center for military research and education in information assurance (IA), defensive information warfare, and computer and network security. He was the team lead and a contributing author for SANS Home Computer and Network Security Course and a contributing author for Chapter 66 of the Computer Security Handbook 5th Edition.
