2540 - 2012 Pacific Operational Science & Technology Conference

The 2012 Pacific Operational Science and Technology Conference will focus on "Regional Shaping with Allies and Partners". We have structured this event with presentations and discussions by speakers that will continue to strengthen relations between the S&T and International communities in order to develop concepts for future interactions to address Pacific Theater issues.

We are gathering senior US Department of Defense military and civilian leaders from across the services and agencies; joining them with our interagency, industry, university, laboratory and international partners to understand S&T's role in addressing issues tied to regional defense, cyber security, fresh water, power and energy, communications, and maritime security.

With involvement of senior S&T officials from the U.S. and International partners, we will gain a better perspective on Asia-Pacific issues and opportunities for collaboration. This year's conference promises to be a great opportunity to forge new cooperative ties.
