Speaker and Presenter Information

Gregory (Greg) Giddens - Chief Acquisition Officer, VA (retired)

Mr. Giddens is a senior executive with over 36 years of experience in engineering, management, leadership, procurement, and program management with 17 years as a member of the Senior Executive Service. Skilled in planning and execution including requirements development, acquisition planning, budgeting, and execution for large programs addressing enterprise goals and objectives. Greg was appointed as the Chief Acquisition Officer (CAO) for the VA in April 2015 and also as the Principal Executive Director for the Office of Acquisition, Logistics and Construction at VA where he oversaw almost $20B in spend.

 

George Goodwin, MD - Chief of Medical Readiness, DHA (retired)

Mr. Goodwin is a board certified Internal Medicine physician who retired as a Colonel from the Pentagon with over 20 years in defense health leadership. He was able to successfully turn around struggling programs within the Defense Department, saving millions of dollars, and improving overall availability of the Army by over 20,000 Soldiers. His program management led to organizational change that sustained the gains. George also brings 20 years of experience in developing successful business teams, speaking to audiences of thousands across the country. Goodwinners Consulting, LLC was created to assist leaders and organizations with an understanding of defense health and readiness, business management, and team building.

 

Reeba Magulick - Founding Senior Partner of the d8 Group

Ms. Magulick is a proven operational, sales, and strategic business growth executive who has consistently led measurable new business wins and operational improvements for her organizations. Her personal efforts have resulted in total awards exceeding $200M in stand-alone Federal Government services awards, $150M in commercial product sales, and over $25B in IDIQ awards—on which she was a member of the capture team. With 23 years of comprehensive business and sales experience and 17 recent years in the Federal Health space, her main customers have included the Defense Health Agency (DHA), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). In recent years, her consulting firm, the d8 Group, has greatly expanded its reach across all sectors of Federal Government.
