Exercise and the Brain: Benefits for First Responders

First responders are often encouraged to engage in physical activity as a means of maintaining physical health and physical agility for their respective work duties. However, seldom is there a discussion about the significant benefits physical activity has on mental health and emotional wellness.

This webinar will focus on the impact of physical activity on the brain and subsequent neurochemical changes that directly impact emotional well-being. Specific brain related changes that may be of benefit to first responders will be a focus, as will the significant impact physical activity have on emotional resilience.
