COMFRC Manufacturing Capability Industry Day

The Fleet Readiness Center South West (FRCSW) is sponsoring an unclassified Industry Event April 20th, 2022 (Potentially April 21st depending on demand). The event will be held at FRCSW, which is located at Naval Air Station North Island, San Diego, CA. The purpose of this event is to provide Industry partners with insight into FRCSW's facility and manufacturing equipment capabilities. The intent is for FRCSW to partner with private industry via Commercial Service Agreements (CSA) and provide unique manufacturing services that aren’t currently offered in the commercial sector.

Fleet Readiness Centers (FRCs) provide depot Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul, and Upgrade (MRO&U), In-service Repair (ISR), and manufacturing services in support of fixed and rotary wing aircraft, aircraft engines, aeronautical components, and support equipment across the Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE). The goal of this Industry Day event at FRCSW is to seek ideas and solutions to various challenges faced across the private industry supply chain both in and outside the aviation industry.

All site visit participants are required to register in advance for this event. Participants who plan on attending must notify the FRCW Points of Contact (POCs) listed below of their intent to attend via e-mail. FRCSW Security Department require that all visitors attending be properly vetted before given access to the base. Every individual participant must provide the following information:

• Full Name
• Date of Birth
• Last 4 digits of Social Security Number
• FRCSW 5512 form

This information must be returned to the FRCSW POCs via e-mail no later than April 6th, 2022 to allow enough time to complete the vetting process. Space will be limited.
