Scaling Digital Defenses: The Building Blocks for a Comprehensive Fraud Strategy
Government agencies continue to expand their digital service offerings, making it easier than ever before for the public to access critical benefits and services online. However, this rapid expansion of digital services has opened the door to unprecedented identity fraud and abuse, costing billions of dollars.
In many cases, additional customer friction was introduced for identity verification processes as a mechanism for reducing fraud. But this did little to actually decrease fraud, and it had the adverse effect of reducing public access to services.
With the right approach, however, it is possible to mitigate fraud while avoiding undue burden and a negative customer experience. As governments build toward the future, it is important to incorporate comprehensive strategies for targeting and tackling identity fraud.
As a participant in this event, you’ll learn:
- How to build a modern plan for combating fraud to ensure the right constituents have access to the benefits and services they need
- How to identify suspicious behavior and pinpoint risk around certain devices and IP addresses
- How to address fraud once you’ve found it
- How to make sure accurate, seamless and fast identity verification is a central component of your digital defense strategy
