Job Corps Industry Day

Description: A Job Corps Industry Day will be held on March 30, 2022, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Office of the Senior Procurement Executive (OSPE), Job Corps Acquisition Services (JCAS). This event is free of charge to all participants.

Who Should Attend: Any entities interested in learning about contracting opportunities (supplies and services) associated with the Job Corps program. DOL is especially interested in outreach to entities in underserved communities, such as Black, Latino, Indigenous and Native American persons, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders and other persons of color; members of religious minorities; lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) persons; persons with disabilities; and persons who live in rural areas.

Benefits of Attending: Job Corps is a residential training program that serves youth ages 16 to 24. Carrying out the program’s mission requires the purchase of a wide spectrum of goods and services. During the Industry Day, participants will be able to network and hear federal program representatives discuss the type of goods and services procured to make the program possible. Participants will also gain perspective from existing Job Corps contractors and hear how they overcame some of the challenges/barriers to entry, as well as lessons learned.

Conference Location: The Job Corps Industry Day will be held virtually on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Pre-registration Requirements: All vendors are required to pre-register via email to ETAOCM-JC-INDUSTRYDAY@dol.gov.

For pre-registration purposes, vendors are required to forward the following information: name, job title, business name and address, telephone number, and email address.

The last day to register is close of business Friday, March 18, 2022.
