Cyber Security Training Conference (CSTC)



The Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) - Colorado Springs Chapter is pleased to announce the Cyber Security Training Conference (CSTC) - Colorado Springs 2012. CSTC 2012 will take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Colorado Springs, CO on Wednesday, August 1st and Thursday, August 2nd, 2012.

The Cyber Security Training Conference 2012 will provide a forum where DoD Information Assurance and Information Technology professionals will have the opportunity to share ideas, exchange information and engage in discussions on ways to further protect and strengthen the defensive posture of information systems. This will be accomplished through a series of briefings and panel discussions focusing on current and proposed IA policies, strategies, and initiatives.

Topics for CSTC 2012 are currently being developed and will be posted soon. Potential speakers that wish to suggest topics/presentations can e-mail Diana David at diana@fbcinc.com.

The audience for this conference will primarily be IA and IT personnel from the large DoD community in Colorado Springs, ISSA members, and will also be marketed to attract DoD personnel on a national level.

The Cyber Security Training Conference brought over 300 attendees together in 2011 and covered various topics, including: Cyber Security Training and Awareness, Prevent & Detect Attacks/Network Defense, Cloud and Data Center Cyber Security, Managing Cyber Crime/Data Breach, and the Legal Aspects of Cyber Crime.

The Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) is a not-for-profit, international organization of information security professionals and practitioners. It provides educational forums, publications and peer interaction opportunities that enhance the knowledge, skill and professional growth of its members.
