Special Notice: Bureau of Reclamation Industry Day Notice

The Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) plans to conduct an Industry Day to promote a meaningful exchange of information and provide industry an opportunity to present and showcase currently available innovative technology solutions for SCADA systems at hydroelectric generation stations and irrigation conveyance facilities that are both locally and remotely operated.

Vendors will be assigned a 90 minute time slot which will be immediately followed by a 30 minute period for questions and answers. Vendors may start setting up one (1) hour prior to their scheduled time slot and will have 30 minutes for teardown. Each organization will be allowed four (4) representatives to register.

Vendors shall contact Sandra Snediker at ssnediker@usbr.gov and Ty DeHart at tdehart@usbr.gov via email to register. Vendors shall submit documentation at the time of registration that clearly depicts their qualifications with large SCADA systems and SCADA systems that employ remote operations. This event is limited to the first five (5) qualified Vendors that demonstrate the following qualifications with systems of like size and complexity.

• Experience designing and building complex distributed SCADA systems that require a high level of security and reliability.
• Experience with SCADA systems for power generation plants and water systems is preferred.
• Experience with SCADA systems and North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) compliance is preferred.

Registration for this event is at the sole discretion of the Government. Walk-ins will not be permitted.

Registration for this event will close on May 25, 2022 at 2:00PM Mountain Daylight Time (MDT) or when five (5) qualified Vendors are registered, whichever comes first. Reclamation will not be responsible for any expense incurred for the participation in this event. All expenses incurred in association with this event will be the responsibility of the participants.
