8th Annual UAV Summit

Overcoming System Challenges to Achieve Greater Capabilities and Efficiencies

In today’s austere fiscal climate, unmanned air systems are assuming greater roles and continue to increase in importance for the US military. The DoD FY 2012 budget includes $4.8 billion for UAVs. While they are relied upon more and more heavily for a variety of missions, UAVs still face key challenges in regards to communications infrastructure, data management, sensor development, interoperability, as well as size, weight, and power concerns.

IDGA’s 8th Annual UAV Summit provides a forum for stakeholders to:

  • Discover new innovations in communications, data links, sensors, processing, and more that will help overcome these challenges and at lower cost
  • Discuss the future of UAV integration into US airspace
  • Meet UAV decision makers and influencers in the military who are looking for solutions
  • Assess future UAV-related needs across the government

IDGA’s UAV Summit offers participants the latest program, requirements, and R&D updates, while providing a more intimate learning and networking environment that fosters the sharing of ideas and building of partnerships necessary to attain the capabilities needed tomorrow.
