Automated ISR Symposium

“Automating Analysis to tackle the data surge & meeting current budget requirements”

The past ten years of war have dramatically improved the IC’s ability to collect intelligence. With ever increasing technology and sophistication of sensors the amount of information being collected has overwhelmed analysis systems and current process.

Today the Armed Services and defense agencies must accelerate the development and fielding of initiatives focused on the optimization of processing, exploitation and dissemination of capabilities to achieve greater automation of intelligence and data. To this end identifying the parts of the intelligence process that are the most suitable for automation to maximize efficiency and effectiveness is paramount.

Across the intelligence community the challenge facing all analysts is the volume of information. Agencies from the National Security Agency, National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, National Reconnaissance Office and CIA currently rely on automated search tools to comb through their collections and identify valuable information. These tools and best practices must be adopted more widely across ISR organizations in order to relieve analysts of the amount of data to be analyzed and to meet requirements of the current budget environment. DSI’s team specializes in the extensive research and development of our Summits' content and focus areas, and we will assemble the most respected minds in human and technical intelligence analysis from military ISR commanders to key policy-makers across military and civilian offices. Our non-partisan approach allows us to reach across all services and organizations to bring together a truly holistic group of decision makers and solution providers.
