This hands-on, highly interactive training course will teach you how to implement a successful compliance program and navigate the potentially hazardous processes of criminal and civil export enforcement. You will be also provided with practical explanation of the required elements of an ITAR compliance program, with discussions of registration requirements, the role of Empowered Officials, the content of policies and programs, identification of ITAR-controlled technical data, licensing, training and other processes.

Our Trainer: Antoinette Paytas Antoinette is a specialist in the field of United States export controls, international trade, and investment law, as she provides legal counsel to a number of leading computer, semiconductor, software, defense, medical devise, aerospace, scientific instrument, and telecommunications companies. Recently she has conducted ITAR audits of defense company in support of settlement agreement with the State Department’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, counseled on implementation of export compliance programs, led internal investigations regarding potential violations of trade sanctions, performed compliance audits and assisted with implementation of export compliance programs, and assisted with obtaining re-export licenses for U.S. Origin equipment to countries subject to trade sanction.
