Empowering First Responders with a Mobile-First Approach and the Importance of Priority Access

Equipping officers with smartphones can increase situational awareness, improve efficiency, and enhance community engagement. The result is a connected officer, who can access mission-critical data regardless of assignment or proximity to a patrol car. Pinellas Park PD has integrated smartphones into a wide range of departmental operations, all with minimal impact on the agency’s budget. Captain Adam Geissenberger will provide insight to the agency’s mobile program as well as best practices and lessons learned.

Priority access is important for public safety mission-critical operations and this topic will also be covered in this informative webinar. Included will be an overview of the DHS Wireless Priority Services (WPS) program. Many people mistakenly believe their carrier’s prioritization system assures call completion, but this is not the case with calls that are made across carriers. WPS addresses this issue but enrollment, which will be explained, is required. Information will also be provided on which agencies qualify for WPS authorization.

This webinar will help agencies establish a cost-effective mobile program that will increase operational effectiveness. Register today for this free and informative presentation.
