In this workshop, attendees will learn about two software and system management technologies included with Red Hat Enterprise Linux; Application Streams and Live Kernel Patching. Application Streams is how Red Hat provides newer versions of applications and development frameworks through the lifespan of a Red Hat Enterprise Linux release. Live Kernel Patching is a method for patching security vulnerabilities in a running kernel. This allows organizations to continue operations without an unplanned or emergency maintenance event while at the same time remediating critical and important security vulnerabilities on their systems.
