Road to Future Cities - San Diego

This event qualifies for 3 CPEs

Powered by a historic influx of federal investments, cities have never been better positioned to usher in a new era of city living. The pressure is on local leaders to leverage this once-in-a-lifetime funding opportunity to bolster their resilience by addressing chronic infrastructure challenges in transportation, broadband expansion, and housing. Doing so requires a deep understanding of the intersectionality of critical infrastructure sectors — and how seemingly disparate areas of investment are intrinsically intertwined.

At Road to Future Cities: San Diego, local San Diego area officials will come together in an interactive discussion to cover the hottest topics in their city. This discussion will explore the best solutions to these challenges, the active work their agency is doing to implement those solutions, and how they hope federal and state partners can better leverage their time and money to assist them in those efforts.

In-person attendees will have the opportunity to:

  • Connect with public sector peers
  • Earn CPE credits
  • Network with attendees during breakfast, including Build Your Own Acai Bowl' bar
