Securing the Software Supply Chain from Increasing Cyber Threats

Securing the software supply chain is mission critical to the federal government, particularly after the 2020 SolarWinds breach and the increasing frequency of attacks. Given Cybersecurity Executive Order 14028, the ongoing risk of software supply chain attacks, and the criticality of software to daily operations, balancing security with innovation is essential to accelerating government missions. Agencies must ensure software is free of vulnerabilities while identifying and tracking third-party components through software bills of materials (SBOMs).

Validating security and compliance within the Kubernetes ecosystem is often complex to navigate in the federal space. Infrastructure and clusters must be maintained at a certified level of security. Join us to learn more about emerging new threats and how industry and government are working together to protect the software supply chain by verifying provenance back to a trusted entity while simplifying and streamlining the security compliance process.
