Region 7 Virtual Industry Day: LEC Pilot Projects

Please join the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS), Greater Southwest Region (Region 7) for a Virtual Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) Industry Exchange as it relates to R7’s Low Embodied Carbon (LEC) Pilot Projects.

This invitation is open to all small and large business concerns, including suppliers and manufacturers that are interested in supplying and/or installing asphalt, concrete (and cement), glass, and/or steel materials for GSA projects -- including projects funded using GSA’s recent $2.15 billion appropriation for low carbon materials.

At this Virtual IRA Industry Exchange you will be able to:

• Learn about GSA’s Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) program, including:
  • Overview of GSA’s IRA appropriations: low embodied carbon (LEC) construction materials, Emerging and Sustainable Technologies (E&ST), and High-Performance Green Buildings (HPGB)
  • What are low carbon construction materials, and how do they relate to GSA’s construction and renovation projects?
