Fargo and Moorhead are on the west and east banks of the Red River of the North, respectively, approximately 453 river miles south of the mouth of the river at Lake Winnipeg in Manitoba, Canada. This flood risk project includes significant concrete structures and earthwork, as well as forestry replacement efforts for the area. The USACE St. Paul District potentially has six (6) projects scheduled for this area in FY24 and FY25 with an estimated value of over $150M.
