Cyber Power: The Quest Towards A Common Ground
The Air Force Research Institute (AFRI) is conducting a conference to consider strengthening and expanding the way we are organizing the unified response to future cyber incidents. The aim of the conference, is to refine existing conversations by bringing together policy makers and practitioners who are engaged in new-style partnerships across the interagency, along with technologists who can judge the feasibilities of proposed efforts. Since interagency dialogues on cooperation exist, another aim of the workshop is to specify how existing responsibilities should be modified to improve the management of military operations and US national security applications of cyber power.
Why Should You Attend?
The conference will stimulate and develop an agenda for experientially informed, multi-disciplinary research on improving interagency effectiveness by utilizing both a qualitative and quantitative methodological approach. Participants will be asked to participate in a modified Delphi method, and through guided discussion, to provide answers to strategic-level questions that drive the interagency process. The result will be the sharing of expectations about right behavior or selected best practices as a viable, near term basis for transforming interagency cyber security cooperation.
