Embassy/Defense Attaché Luncheon Series - Italy

NDIA's International Division presents a luncheon with the Defense Cooperation Attaché and his staff from the Embassy of Italy in Washington, DC.

Each year, the International Division organizes a series of luncheons with the Defense Attaché staff from allied and friendly embassies. The purpose of these luncheons is to provide industry with an opportunity to exchange views with foreign government representatives and for Attaché staffs to provide industry with informative briefings.

Major General Giovanni Fantuzzi will present a broad overview of Italy’s MoD current commitment and touch lightly on several strategic-level issues.

The issues include: Italy’s current domestic politics and factors that influence its strategic visionHow does Italy perceive itself within NATO, within Western Europe, and globally? He will follow with observations about Italy’s approach to reconciling its strategic vision with resource realities and the implications for the Defense Ministry’s acquisition planning. Lastly, MGEN Fantuzzi and his staff will be happy to address some questions.
