NHTSA Communications Priorities and Energy & Transportation Expo

SBGCN will welcome Susan Gorcowski, Associate Administrator, Office of Communications and Consumer Information, with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

Following Ms. Gorcowski’s presentation, we are hosting an expo of our members with energy and transportation experience. These members have the past performance credentials small and large firms want in a teaming partner. The expo participants have worked on communications campaigns for federal, state, and local governments, non-profits, trade associations, and commercial entities.

Speaker and Presenter Information

Susan Gorcowski is the Associate Administrator of the Office of Communications and Consumer Information at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a mode within the U.S. Department of Transportation. In this position, Ms. Gorcowski manages the office responsible for providing accurate and timely traffic safety information to the news media, consumers, and partner organizations. The Office conducts market research, develops external communication strategies, implements paid and earned advertising campaigns, develops collateral program materials in support of traffic and vehicle safety program initiatives and manages the Agency’s websites. Ms. Gorcowski has over 30 years of highway safety experience at the state, regional and federal levels. She holds a BA in Sociology from Regis University and an MA in Urban Affairs from St. Louis University
