Rocket City Government Contracting Conference

Decosimo Solvability, LLC, the government contracting consulting practice of the Top 100 accounting and business advisory firm Decosimo, will host and provide thought leadership for the Rocket City GovCon Conference on Thursday, September 18th. Taking place in Huntsville’s Jackson Conference Center, the one-day conference is focused on bringing together government contracting professionals and executives with business experts to discuss key the factors that can assist businesses in growing government contracting opportunities.

The conference will feature two educational tracks and a keynote address by Cole Walker, an energy entrepreneur and advocate who serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of EDT Energy. Through a keynote address entitled “The EnergyNet is the Next Internet,” Mr. Walker will examine the decentralization of power production and the impact of SMART GRID movement. The keynote address will explore the changes taking place as the nation moves from analog-based equipment to digitally-based control systems and the potential for the power grid to become an EnergyNet that manages electricity from the plant to the plug.
