Managing the Migration to IPv6 Throughout the Department of Defense

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED

This event qualifies for 1 CPEs

The Department of Defense has fallen behind in its transition from IPv4 to IPv6. A December 2014 report published by Department of Defense Inspector General (DODIG) indicates that the Defense Department is lagging in it’s adoption of IPv6 and needs to make it a priority for reasons of cyber security and for supporting it’s plans for future operations. The DODIG report finds that DOD has lacked a clear transition plan and coordinated effort necessary for moving from IPv4 to IPv6 and needs to reinitiate its migration efforts. Further delays in the migration could increase DOD’s costs and it’s vulnerabilities to adversaries.

Please join F5 Networks and Carahsoft for a complimentary webcast to learn more about implementing a plan to securely migrate network services from IPv4 to IPv6 while:

  • Maintaining control of your applications and network
  • Supporting your customers
  • Minimizing service distruption and downtime
