Joint Critical Infrastructure Partnership Webinar - Cybersecurity Awareness



The hour-long Webinar consists of three 15-minute presentations and will be broadcasted on:

  • Thursday, October 31, 2013; 2:00 - 3:00 pm EDT.

October - Cybersecurity Awareness:  Topics provide background information about reviewing cyber resilience capabilities, improving information sharing, and evaluating security needs for protecting national cyber assets:

  • CyberSecurity and Communications Programs – How secure are your networks? The CRR offers a voluntary and no-cost evaluation of an organization’s operational resilience and cyber risk management capabilities, while the Cyber Security Evaluation Tool (CSET) offers a systematic, repeatable approach for assessing the security posture of a cyber system or network.
  • Homeland Security Information Network — Critical Infrastructure (HSIN-CI) – Short on information? HSIN-CI is a secure, unclassified Web-based communications system that is a primary means of sharing sensitive, unclassified information.
  • Federal Bureau of Investigation Presentation – As part of the Cybersecurity Awareness Month, the FBI will provide an overview of the cyber programs made available to by the Bureau.
