Military Airlift Rapid Reactions & Tanker Operations

SMi Group’s 14th Annual Military Airlift Rapid Reactions and Tanker Operations 2013 is the largest bespoke Military Airlift conference in Europe. This must-attend event enjoys high-level support from across NATO, EATC, and MCCE to name a few. Our conference also engages with an extensive network of industry representatives as we continue to bring both the key military and industry stakeholders of the airlift community together.

In keeping with our commitment to keep the event venue in the most relevant location, we have chosen to have this year's, SMi Group’s 14th Annual Military Airlift Rapid Reactions and Tanker Operations 2013 in Seville, where Airbus will be showing us around the A400 M final assembly line.  We have the pleasure of being invited to an exclusive site visit at Airbus Military facility where we will be shown the latest range of capability by Airbus.

Given the increase in short term operations where troops need to be deployed at short notice, the onus is on the airlift industry to provide the optimum capability at any given time, thus making it more important than ever to expand knowledge in this area.

Military Airlift Rapid Reaction and Tanker Operations 2013 will be covering issues in the airlift industry that matter to you in 2013 including:

  • How to face the challenges created by cuts to the defence budget in airlift
  • The concept of multi-national cooperation hearing from the biggest players in this such as the MCCE and EATC
  • The new Diplomatic Clearances implemeted by the EDA
  • Developments in different types of capability such as MEDEVAC, AAR and Strategic Capability from individual forces
  • The way the brand new Director of OCCAR who has worked both in operations and procurement is planning on moving multi-national procurement forward
  • In-depth case studies from successful missions such as the use of airlift in the mission in Mali by Heavy Airlift Wing
