U.S.-Austria Defense Industry Day

Over the last few decades, U.S. and Austrian defense and security industries established strong ties of cooperation based on mutual understanding. A strong commitment to investment and joint R&D has led to the successful implementation of countless projects in the United States.

Under the globalized economic environment and national budget restrictions, the exchange of know-how and technology is the key to meet future challenges.

In this context, the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) and the Austrian Defense & Security Industry Group (ADIG) jointly host the first “U.S.-Austria Defense Industry Day” at the Austrian Embassy in Washington, D.C. Representatives from the Austrian MoD and U.S. DoD, as well as experts and company representatives from both countries, will examine recent trends and provide an overview of industrial capabilities. The industry day will be an ideal platform for industry and government officials to identify and discuss new areas of cooperation.

As part of the event, NDIA and ADIG will officially sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote broader cooperation and exchange of information between both institutions for the benefit of their member companies.
