AFCEA Bethesda's November Breakfast

This August, the Administration’s National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace (NSTIC) reached another milestone in the effort to create a common identity infrastructure for the Internet. A new pilot program from the US Postal Service promises a time when citizens will soon be able to access everything from federal health benefits to student loan information using a single ID and password. The project will create a cloud-service hub that allows agencies to accept citizen log-in credentials from private or public identity providers certified by the Federal Identity, Credential and Access Management (ICAM) initiative. The Federal Cloud Credential Exchange (FCCX) is one of three NSTIC initiatives that encourage the private sector to take the lead in developing a secure identity ecosystem to support the growing demand for online transactions.

Join AFCEA Bethesda on November 7 at the Bethesda North Marriott and Conference Center for “Next Generation Authentication and Identity Management – From Cloud to Mobile,” an executive breakfast to discuss challenges faced by agencies as they transition to the next generation of identity and access management.
