With the realization that natural gas is a much cleaner and greener fuel, Qatar and other Middle Eastern nations, in accordance with worldwide energy trends, are beginning to set up infrastructure to use this invaluable energy source for public and domestic consumption to satisfy their growing cities’ energy demand.
Qatar Gas Distribution Projects would be the first Qatari- focused international conference to address the various gas distribution projects of Qatar, district gas distribution, industrial gas distribution, and NGVs, whilst highlighting the country’s eventual plans for an integrated gas distribution network, and highlighting the contribution of key government and private sectors in realizing this vision.
A 3-day conference and exhibition would be focusing on important applications of NG for:
- District Gas Distribution: The first gas distribution networks of Qatar delivering natural gas to residential and commercial consumers are being developed as part of new city developed by leading utility providers such as Marafeq. This segment of the event highlights such plans and leaders behind them, whilst offering best international case studies on similar projects, addressing strategic and technical solutions utilized in planning, construction, execution and successful operations of such projects.
- Industrial Gas Distribution: This segment of the event will focus on the a-z of developing successful industrial gas distribution networks and their impact on successful industrialization and economic diversification. The technical requirements of such projects will be the focal point.
- Natural Gas Vehicles: This segment will focus on the benefits of NGVs for the environment, and the requirements to set up NGV stations, conversion centres and best strategies for market penetration and proliferation
This 3 day event would be a knowledge sharing and enriching platform for the city gas distribution community to get together and discuss the issues/challenges, best practices with each other to promote the further large scale gas distribution projects.
