Shutdown is Causing Delays and Disruptions – Sound Like a Claim?



A number of "unintended consequences" have resulted from the Government Shutdown regarding many company’s ability to perform work on their contracts despite having funding and scope. In dealing with these delays and disruptions in the business environment a company needs to take appropriate steps to identify costs to either file a Request for Equitable Adjustment and potential claim or be able to show the government the sacrifices that are being made.
