U.S. EPA National Sustainable Design Expo

2010 marks the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day.  Celebrate with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) at the National Sustainable Design Expo featuring EPA's 6th Annual P3 (People, Prosperity and the Planet) Award Competition.

Meet the university teams competing for EPA's P3 Awards and let them introduce you to their innovative solutions for a sustainable world.  More than 250 college and university students from around the country will exhibit their designs for a sustainable tomorrow and compete for the prestigious EPA P3 Award.  Along side the students, representatives from other federal agencies, nonprofit organizations, and businesses will showcase their latest sustainable designs, technologies, and practices. You'll see novel approaches for green design and buildings, innovative ideas for alternative energy and materials, technologies for clean drinking water and much more.

The Expo will take place on Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Sunday, April 25, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. between 4th and 7th Streets (near the National Air and Space Museum) in Washington, D.C.  The event is open to the public with activities for all ages.

Please don't hesitate to post this notice, send it to relevant venues, and inform as many friends and family as possible.
