Trusted Microelectronics Meeting

NDIA is pleased to offer their second workshop designed to identify ways in which Trusted Microelectronics can contribute to compliance with DoD Instruction 5200.44, Protection of Mission Critical Functions to Achieve Trusted Systems and Networks (TSN). The Trusted Suppliers Steering Group has organized the agenda for this half-day workshop to provoke an interactive exchange of ideas to improve security for defense systems and networks.  At our first workshop, held in June 2013, we heard from Government officials on their thinking behind DoDI 5200.44. Now we would like to hear from Industry representatives who work to implement the 5200.44 requirements.  We plan to gain insight from individual speakers followed by a moderated discussion on the challenges with the policy implementation from the Government program offices.  Representatives from the Trusted Suppliers Steering Group will be on hand to describe how they can address those challenges.

The Trusted Suppliers Steering Group is a self-formed alliance of companies that have been accredited by Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA) to provide Trusted Microelectronics products and services to Government programs. The Group consists of Aeroflex Corporation, BAE Systems Inc., Cypress Semiconductor Corporation, Honeywell International Inc., Intrinsix Corporation, Northrop Grumman Corporation, ONSemiconductor, Photronics Inc., and Teledyne Technologies inc.
