Join INPUT for a Federal Executive Breakfast featuring Dr. David McClure, associate administrator, Office of Citizen Services and Communications, General Services Administration, to learn about the government’s upcoming technology infrastructure plans and initiatives.
McClure facilitates government-wide capabilities to support the President’s Open Government Directive, such as idea management and challenge solutions. Dr. McClure is also involved in implementing the Office of Management and Budget’s government-wide cloud computing strategy via Apps.gov and other avenues.
During this breakfast session McClure will address:
- Upcoming plans to seek proposals for delivering several types of infrastructure services over the Internet
- Delivery of cloud-based infrastructure and software on Apps.gov
- Cloud computing standards and initiatives
The event will also feature Deniece Peterson, manager, Industry Analysis for INPUT. Peterson will identify major technology investments within GSA and discuss government-wide cloud computing trends. Peterson is INPUT’s primary author of the research reports, Federal, State, & Local Emerging Technology Markets, and Evolution of the Cloud: The Future of Cloud Computing in Government.
