Fourth Annual Government Big Data Forum





Dan Doney
, Chief Innovation Officer for the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), will deliver the morning keynote at this year's event. Doney will explore the Big Data challenges facing the DIA and other elements of the Federal Government. He will also highlight how new technologies, related to Big Data, are creating new opportunities for technical breakthroughs, and the principles that DIA is using to foster technical innovation and put ideas into action.


Doney is a system architect and an innovator with senior experience across the Federal Government including the Navy, the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Agency, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). A recent notable achievement, Mr. Doney helped establish the DHS cloud strategy and was also the 2012 Excellence in Government Award winner for a hybrid cloud application while serving as senior architect for USCIS SelfCheck. 


Doney's keynote kicks off a great lineup of government and industry speakers. This complimentary full-day conference will feature discussions on how Big Data technology can be applied to solve real-world challenges related to:
