Oregon Digital Government Summit 2014

This year marks the fourth Oregon Digital Government Summit – an event that has in its short history proven to be highly successful. Last year the well regarded state CIO, Dugan Petty retired and after a short time with an interim CIO in place, Alex Petit (former CIO from Oklahoma) is taking over as State CIO in early January 2014.  Given the transition, this makes the 2014 event an especially crucial one. The summit is a draw for both state government in Salem and city government from Portland and the surrounding metro area. Being a relatively new event, the advisory board is excited, dynamic and committed to helping create a top-notch event. Oregon has leveraged some important private/public partnerships with major technology companies based in the state.  This event will showcase how Oregon continues to prove itself an up and coming state in terms of technology sophistication and innovation.
