Malaysia @MCMC 2014

SANS hands-on advanced Information Security training returns to Malaysia!

SANS is returning to Malaysia with three outstanding SANS courses. Encouraged by the ongoing support from the Malaysian information security community, we are pleased to return to provide outstanding training. SANS Malaysia @MCMC 2014, (12-24 May), is brought to you by SANS and MCMC and will feature the same SANS' top instructors who teach these courses in the United States. Join us for this great opportunity to benefit from the world's best hands-on information security training and certification while saving on travel costs!

This year's event will feature IT security, pen testing, and forensics courses offered over two weeks. This would allow you to take two courses!

First take SEC401 on 12-17 May:

SEC401: Security Essentials Bootcamp Style (GIAC-GSEC) taught by Mohammed Haron and Mark Hofman

Follow up with either SEC560 or FOR508 on 19-24 May:

SEC560: Network Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking (GIAC-GPEN) taught by Pieter Danhieux
FOR508: Advanced Computer Forensic Analysis and Incident Response (GIAC-GCFA) taught by Alissa Torres

"An experience (SEC401)! Everyone in the IT field should enjoy this great experience to safeguard their networks as well as secure their employment." - Bob Akin, Serco

"I really enjoyed SEC560. As someone who's already done penetration testing work, I found the material relevant and learned new things." - Carlos Ferreira, Core BTS

"Out of the FOR408, I was able to find a real 'smoking gun' in a case. Now in this FOR508 the info provided in Day 1, will certainly have potential to do the same." - Bert T. Skaletshi, Merck KGaA

"Excellent material and course as always! That's why I keep coming back!" - Bo Jonsson, Borenis AB

"I can always count on SANS courses and instructors to help lay a course for improving my personal skills and for improving the direction of my organization's security strategy." - George Frazier, Lower Merion School District

Our training event is being held at Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) in Cyberjaya.

Note that the classes at this event are HRDF claimable if they are registered via our local partner Accrete Technologies Sdn Bhd. Please contact us at AsiaPacific@sans.org for further information.
